Mother's Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by cooking her something delicious? Sharing a meal or a tasty homemade dessert is one of our favourite ways to celebrate with loved ones, especially to thank Mum for all the desserts and dinners she's cooked for you over the years.

Nothing says 'I love you' like chocolate! This sophisticated combo of hazelnut and chocolate is sure to put a smile on Mum's face - and (we won't tell) it's as simple to make as blending together the ingredients and sticking it in the freezer!

Meyer Lemon Cake

Lemon Cake 400x400

If there's one thing we've learnt from our mums over the years, it's that when life gives you lemons, turn them into dessert. Specifically, this cake. It uses Meyer lemons, which are sweeter and less acidic than regular lemons, but you can substitute regular lemons for a cake with a bit more zing.

Remember all the times Mum made you a last-minute cake to take to class parties, whipped up a batch of muffins for your best mate's birthday, or "helped" (so, made the whole thing) you bake up a storm on the weekend? Well, it's well and truly time you returnd the favour. Make her this #sugarfree classic - we promise it will almost be as good as her recipe.
